The International Boxing Federation (IBF) is one of the four major professional boxing sanctioning bodies recognized by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, alongside the WBA, WBC, and WBO. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Springfield, New Jersey, United States, the IBF is led by president Daryl Peoples. The organization sanctions professional boxing bouts across multiple weight divisions for both men and women, establishes world champions, maintains rankings, and sets regulatory standards for competitive boxing. The IBF has also extended into Muay Thai sanctioning, holding its first IBF Muaythai convention in Bangkok in 2017.
