Golden Boy Promotions, Inc. is an American boxing promotional firm founded in 2002 by eight-time world champion Oscar De La Hoya and headquartered in Los Angeles, California. De La Hoya serves as Chairman and CEO, with Eric Gomez as President and Robert Gasparri as Chief Operating Officer. The company has promoted some of boxing’s biggest events, including the 2007 super fight between De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather, and negotiated Canelo Álvarez’s landmark 11-fight DAZN deal. Golden Boy has also ventured into MMA under the Golden Boy MMA banner (since 2018) and urban development through Golden Boy Partners (since 2005). It remains one of the major promotional entities in boxing.
