Eagle FC (Eagle Fighting Championship) is a Russian mixed martial arts promotion co-owned by former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov alongside Rizvan Magomedov and Shamil Zavurov. The organization was established in December 2020 when Nurmagomedov acquired the Gorilla Fighting Championship (GFC) for $1 million and rebranded it. The predecessor promotion, the Federation of MMA of Samara, had operated since 2017 but experienced financial difficulties that led to the acquisition. Eagle FC’s first U.S. event was held on January 28, 2022, in Miami, Florida.

The promotion operates eight active championship belts across its men’s divisions, including an innovative 165-pound super lightweight class not sanctioned by most major organizations. Eagle FC has hosted events across Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the United States, drawing on Nurmagomedov’s global star power to attract international attention. The organization has featured notable alumni fighters including former UFC champions Junior dos Santos, Renan Barão, and Rashad Evans, as well as active competitors Umar Nurmagomedov, Usman Nurmagomedov, and Tagir Ulanbekov.
