Jackson-Wink MMA Academy is a mixed martial arts training facility based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2007 when Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn formalized their partnership. Jackson had been training fighters under his own school since 1992, but the full academy under the Jackson-Wink name took shape when striking coach Mike Winkeljohn joined as co-head. The combination of Jackson’s strategic game-planning approach and Winkeljohn’s elite Muay Thai instruction produced one of the most analytically rigorous coaching staffs in combat sports history. The academy operates at high altitude, which many fighters cite as a conditioning advantage.
