City Kickboxing is a mixed martial arts gym based in Mount Eden, Auckland, New Zealand, founded in 2007 by Eugene Bareman and Doug Viney. What started as a community kickboxing gym evolved into one of the most respected MMA training camps in the world. Head coach Eugene Bareman has guided the gym’s professional team to remarkable success across the major global promotions, including the UFC, Bellator, and ONE Championship. City Kickboxing’s most prominent alumni include Israel Adesanya (former two-time UFC Middleweight Champion), Alexander Volkanovski (former UFC Featherweight Champion), Carlos Ulberg (current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion), and Dan Hooker (UFC lightweight contender). The gym has become a symbol of New Zealand’s emergence as a combat sports powerhouse.
