> Alliance MMA Gym

Alliance MMA Gym is a mixed martial arts training camp founded in 2007 in San Diego, California, by head coach Eric Del Fierro and professional MMA fighter Brandon Vera. Del Fierro, a U.S. Navy veteran and former San Diego firefighter and EMT, built Alliance into one of the West Coast’s top training environments, coaching more than 50 UFC fighters over the gym’s history. The facility has operated from several San Diego-area locations and has a satellite connection in the Philippines. Notable fighters who have trained at Alliance include Dominick Cruz, Alexander Gustafsson, Jan Blachowicz, Cat Zingano, Jeremy Stephens, Brandon Vera, and Angela Hill. Gustafsson’s 2012-era UFC Light Heavyweight Championship contention drew international attention to the gym. Alliance MMA Gym is distinct from the separately operated Alliance Jiu-Jitsu competition team.
